Ed, you really need to come up with a better conversation starter.

elevator pitch

Welcome back, everybody! Hope everyone's having a good week so far!

Today's strip was really fun, I enjoyed writing it quite a bit. I had to drag the art kicking and screaming out of my head but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. If you enjoy today's strip, I'd love it if you share it with a friend or the Internet at large! This is probably as close as I'm going to get to giving an origin story for the Restaurant Industry Mafia, so I think it makes a pretty good point to jump on board.

As usual I will point you towards our Facebook fan page - fans the week before last were rewarded with some bonus art, who knows when I might post some more? Play it safe and join up now! http://www.facebook.com/RimComics

And of course there's my favorite Internet community, Twitter. You can find me there at https://twitter.com/RIM_Comics I'm pretty active there, and quite friendly and approachable. I know some really awesome and fun comicsy folks on the Twet, and we'd all love you to join the conversation!

Last but not least, what do you think about the comic? Leave a comment below! I'd love to hear what anyone thinks. If you'd like to contact me outside of the comments, you can reach me at rimcomics@gmail.com

Thanks for stopping by! Have an awesome week!

Contest sort of?

I mentioned this on twitter, but I might as well say something about it here too. Next week's comic contains an easter egg that has appeared a couple of times before. No one's noticed it yet, as far as I know. If anyone can find what I'm talking about before Monday's comic, I'm offering to send them a few RIM Comics bookmarks and a custom sketch of your choosing.

The only hint I've given so far is this: The object you're looking for appears in a background that is NOT in Nina's restaurant.

Here's a fresh new hint: it is an object that appears to be something other than what it really is.

You can submit your guesses here, on the comments for the comic where the easter egg appears, on Twitter or the Facebook page, or you can email me at rimcomics@gmail.com Here's a link for the Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/RimComics

For additional info or hints, you might want to follow me on Twitter too. https://twitter.com/RIM_Comics

Good luck!
