Yeah, Freddie's the new guy, but he still gets to be pissed off from a tip like that.

Hey guys and ladies! Welcome to the Restaurant Industry Mafia, or RIM Comics for short! We're pleased to bring you a new, full-color page every Monday. If you're new around here but you like the comic, you can follow me on the facenbok over here http://www.facebook.com/RimComics for comic updates and links for your feed. I'm also fairly active over on the Tweeterwebs and you can keep tabs on me over here https://twitter.com/RIM_Comics

Archon, the local fantasy/scifi/fandom convention was this weekend and it was a blast! I always forget to pace myself Friday night and end up tired on Saturday, but it was a great deal of fun nonetheless. If I met you at the show, thanks for stopping by! I'll be here every week.

I always sit at the bar at my favorite (and basically only decent) establishment of choice here in my lovely town. As a result, I get to see lots of frustration with customers (they're not unprofessional about it, they just know me so well by now as a regular they don't really bother to filter much anymore when I'm sitting there.) Personally, if I can afford to spend $43.76 on dinner, then I can afford to tip. Otherwise I could have made ramen noodles at home.

@Carol: Yes, once we get comfortable with you we'll bring you into the fold. Hang around a place long enough and you can become like an honorary employee.

In fact, the place that I've worked the longest used to have a tradition of giving a job to people who spent the most time at our bar. We hired our best drinkers.
